The National Law Development Agency held a public discussion on academic draft for Ratifying of Convention on Contracts for International Sale of Good(CISG). The public discussion held on 29 Nopember 2013 in Malang with Afifah Kusumadara as a speaker. The half-day workshop featured the presentation and discussion of cases on the CISG prepared by Ibu Afifah Kusumadara.
During the workshop, more than 50 representantive of the government, lecturer, civil society and students discussed about the importance of ratificaction of CISG. They said CISG hepls remove legal barriers for international trade and diminishes uncertainty in conflicts of laws and increase facilitation of contract negotiations in international transactions.
